More than a hundred people from all over Central Europe attended the digital Social Entrepreneurship Conference 2022 – SUPPORTING THE ECONOMY OF POSITIVE CHANGE on March 23rd 2022.

The Investitionsbank Sachsen-Anhalt (Development Bank of Saxony-Anhalt) is happy to announce the completion of the second German capacity building seminar.

The Merseburg Innovation Technology Center has successfully held the first of two German Capacity Building Seminars.

Through key activities, a nine-month pilot support program for social entrepreneurs and their business ideas and projects with a positive social and / or environmental impact was implemented.

The free child protection app “KiSchu” offers help in identifying child welfare risks. It is the first app of its kind in Germany. The app „KiSchu“ supports assessing whether a suspected child is at risk of harm.

In conclusion of the the first phase of the pilot, the Italian partners Finpiemonte and Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini organized the mid-term meeting March 22 entitled « Support for new SEs: from theory to practice »

We are inviting you to attend the 2021 Impact Conference, a two-day online event to be held on April 27 – 28; 10AM – 2PM.

The meeting opened with a presentation of how the call was designed and how the local territories were involved through the scouting process.

The meeting was fruitful and it was an important opportunity to exchange experiences .

Fondazione Brodolini launched the 2nd December a national panel to discuss opportunities and challenges posed by the spread of smart working for cohesion policies in Italian internal areas.

Encouraging smart working is also an element of success for DelFin which supports the birth and growth of social entrepreneurship in rural area in Piedmont Region.

Achieving financial sustainability can be a challenge for social entrepreneurs.

During the month of November, German pilot participants had the opportunity to take part in online trainings, workshops and individual mentoring on the topic of financing and funding businesses.

The town of Duga Resa conducted their pilot visit on November 3, 2020. The meeting took place online and served as an exchange between project partners and stakeholders. Fortunately, project partners from all other countries, meaning Germany, Italy and Hungary, were able to participate in the meeting.

Duga Resa finished the first part of the pilot project, and is announcing a pilot visit.

The first half of the pilot phase in Germany is already over, which means it is time for the midterm workshop!

The workshop teams examined the pilot program from two different perspectives: the organizational (internal) and the participant’s (external) perspective.

The first pilot visit was held by German tandem partners on October 7, 2020. The purpose of this online meeting was to give insights into the German pilot program and to exchange experiences made during the first phase of the program.

More than fifteen participants with ten different ideas shape their future businesses with our help.

Italian kickoff meeting of the is an
experimentation of a spread incubation program over territories, involving the internal areas of 3 provinces of Piedmont.

German tandem partners entered the official pilot phase with their pilot kick-off workshop, which was held on July 9, 2020.

Instead of meeting in person in the cosy town of Duga Resa in Croatia and seeing the progress made in the local pilot project for social entrepreneurs, they will have their first online meeting of this format – due to covid-19 situation that has affected us all.

German tandem partners started their search for potential participants for their pilot program until – deadline is May 25, 2020.

Italian partners held two additional meetings with local stakeholders.

How to promote Social Entrepreneurship especially in rural regions?

Finpiemonte and Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini, met the stakeholders of Cuneo to share the next steps of the Delfin project for the implementation of pilot actions.

Social enterprises realize business ideas that not only generate financial profit but also make a positive contribution to society and the environment. In order to promote them and their business models, financing and consulting services must be further developed.

Finpiemonte and Fondazione Brodolini met the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Biella, LAG (local action group) of Biella and the social consortium Il filo da tessere.

Transnational Transfer Workshop Croatia took place in Zagreb on November 26, 2019. The purpose of the workshop was to provide input for the development of tools and instruments for promoting social entrepreneurship.

On the 2nd of July the 1st regional stakeholder meeting in Saxony-Anhalt took place.

The DelFin kickoff meeting was held in Magdeburg, Germany, on 14-15 May 2019.
